Draft Hosts Book Reading, Donates Books to Deanwood Library in Washington D.C.
Literacy and Education are keystones of the Chris Draft Family Foundation’s Literacy
Leaders initiative. To emphasize the importance, Washington Redskins Linebacker Chris Draft hosted a reading and author talk at Deanwood Neighborhood Library in Washington D.C. on July 16.
Draft joined local Washington D.C. students at Deanwood Neighborhood Library where he read from his
children’s book “Do You Want to Play Catch?”. Draft will also challenged them to get their library cards, so they can check out their five favorite books.
“Every kid should have five favorite books,” Draft said. “Get your library card, and go get your five favorite books.”
Draft also donated two copies of his new book, “Do You Want to Play Catch?”, to each of the Washington D.C.
Public Libraries, starting with the Deanwood Neighborhood Library on July 16.
