Tony Draft

I consider myself foremost, a father and a friend and as such, family is #1 in my life.
 
Community is our family, our extended family and friends and empowering communities through education is the key to our existence.
I have been married to Rose Polk Draft for 35 years and have two sons, Anthony II and Christopher. I am also blessed to have a daughter-in-law, Gillian and twin grandsons, Dylan Anthony and Ethan Connor.

I earned my BA in Physical Education and Sociology at Kansas Wesleyan University, located in Salina, Kansas. Upon graduation, I was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps, serving as a Communication Officer on active duty for 3 years, and earning the rank of Captain within a year and a half. During that time, I was stationed at Camp Pendleton and developed a love for the Southern California climate.

Upon my honorable discharge from the Marines, my family and I remained in California, settling in Anaheim, where Rose and I were very involved in youth sports, serving either as coaches or team parents through every phase of Tony II and Chris’s sports careers.
 I have been in the Food Service industry for approximately 30 years, and am presently a Regional Sales Manager for Farmland Foods based in Southern California.
