The screening took place in the school’s auditorium and immediately following the film the students participated in a roundtable discussion, moderated by Chris Draft.<view>
• The Great Debaters Essay Contest "Brown Bag" Luncheon On May 10, 2008, the Foundation hosted a Brown Bag Luncheon to honor the student essay contest winners from St. Louis Public School District. Essay contest winners from the participating St. Louis public high schools shared their winning essays and received their prizes: a $100 Visa gift card, a $100 US Savings Bond and tickets to a St. Louis Rams home game!<view>
• A Discussion and A Movie™ The Great Debaters - Clayton County Public Schools Draft took his “A Discussion and A Movie” program to Clayton County’s High School Students on Friday, February 15th at the Galaxy Theatre in Riverdale. Students from each high school were invited to view the movie, discuss their thoughts and perceptions about the movie.<view>
• A Discussion and A Movie™ The Great Debaters - Atlanta Public Schools On Friday, Jan. 25, 450 Atlanta Public High School students will attend a private screening and panel discussion of the Golden Globe Nominated film The Great Debaters at the AMC Magic Johnson Greenbriar Mall 12.<view>
• A Discussion and A Movie™ The Great Debaters - St. Louis Public School District On Friday, Jan. 11, 300 St. Louis Public High School students attended a private screening and panel discussion of the Golden Globe nominated film "The Great Debaters" at the Chase Park Plaza Cinema. <view>
