Foundation Helps Missouri Shape Up and Get Healthy
Shape Up Missouri is billed as a health and wellness expo that reaches out to everyone, be it kids, teens or adults, but the event represented much more than just you average health fair.
Shape Up Missouri, held Sunday, May 1, at Parkway West High School in St. Louis, started with a 5K fun run/walk made just for the family. After the run, particpants were treated to a health expo that featured healthy food, games, demostrations and performances put on by local St. Louis restaurants, health organizations and even the St. Louis Blues, St. Louis Cardinals and St. Louis Rams.
The expo also featured a Chris Draft Family Foundation booth where participants were able to stop by and talk character with CDFF Founder Chris Draft and receive a Character Team T-Shirt. (Need a Character Team shirt? Check out the store to get yours now!).
The fitness expo also served as a kickoff to Asthma Awareness Month in May. The National Environmental Protection Agency to let people know Asthma triggers and help spread asthma awareness.
