Rams linebacker Chris Draft led the entire 2008 Rams rookie class on a tour of Scott Air Force Base in Illinois on June 17. 

As the rookies finished their last week of rookie school before their pre-training camp break, Chris Draft and the Rams rookies were escorted to Scott Air Force Base from Russell Training Center in a caravan escorted by Missouri and Illinois State Police.  Their afternoon began with a tour of the First Lady’s Air Force One, and also included samples of military cuisine, observation of weapons simulation training and mock deployment line.  The Rams closed out the day with a mini-football clinic with participants who included Air Force Junior ROTC, families of deployed airmen and women and a group of airmen and women from Scott Air Force Base.
