Chris Draft will join fellow JB Award recipients at the NFL PLAYERS Gala Featuring the JB Awards on Thursday April 16 at the Washington Hilton. 

The NFL Players Association (NFLPA) and NFL PLAYERS partnered with James Brown of CBS Sports "The NFL Today" to create the NFL PLAYERS Gala Featuring the JB Awards.  The Gala recognizes NFL players who exemplify leadership, dedication, and commitment to team and community.  All proceeds from the event benefit Special Olympics DC (SODC), the sole provider of year-round sports training opportunities for 2,500 children and adults with developmental disabilities in the District of Columbia.  In January 1995, all city-funding for SOCD was permanently eliminated; the NFL PLAYERS Gala helps raise the funds needed to remain in existence.
