Asthma Control Everyday (ACE) is a new educational program that is being developed by MU Women's and Children's Hospital, Columbia in partnership with the Missouri Asthma Prevention and Control Program, the Missouri School Boards' Association and CTK Clinical Associates. Funding has been provided by the Missouri Foundations for Health, Childhood Asthma Linkages in Missouri grant program and IMPACT Asthma Kids(c), School of Medicine, University of Missouri. ACE will be delivered in DVD format to school-age children and their families during a face-to-face meeting with a trained asthma educator. Special guests for the ACE production include Chris Draft, linebacker for the Washington Redskins; Erika Hebron, Miss Missouri; and Al Keith, jazz musician (Asthma Blues(c).
