The Library of Congress National Book Festival and DC Public Library are co-sponsoring an event to kick-off summer reading for area students. This is the first in a pair of ‘bookend’ events, taking place before and after the summer break, designed to promote reading and to energize students for the National Book Festival this fall (Sept 24-25).
