SCLC/Women's Organizational Movement For Equality Now Inc. will hold its 33rd Annual Drum Major for Justice Awards Dinner in Atlanta at the Westin Peachtree Plaza Hotel on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at 6:30p.m.

The awards ceremony recognizes individuals and organizations who are accomplished barrier- breaking servant leaders – present day “Drum Majors” – who embody and perpetuate the philosophy, vision and mission of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Through success in their respective fields and acts of humanitarian service, Drum Major Honorees lead the way by example.

This signature event of SCLC/W.O.M.E.N. Inc. is held annually on the anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s assassination to mark the passing of one of the greatest leaders in the history of the world, and to inspire others to carry on the spirit and work of King’s legacy through service and leadership.
