Clinical/Research Interests

Dr. Cooke specializes in general thoracic surgery, thoracic oncology, surgical treatment of malignant and benign esophageal disease, video assisted thoracic surgery (VATS) with special interest in VATS pulmonary resection; interventional bronchoscopy, esophageal stenting, tracheal and airway surgery, lung volume reduction surgery, surgical treatment of achalasia, hyperhidrosis surgery, student mentoring, and community involvement. Dr. Cooke's research interests involve clinical studies including oncologic trials, surgical outcomes research and surgical education.
