Team Draft will visit the Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA) Facility located in Goodyear, AZ. During the visit, Team Draft will have the opportunity to discuss the latest in research development and treatment options available through CTCA.
Opening its doors to incoming patients in December of 2008, Western Regional Medical Center in Goodyear, AZ marked the fourth CTCA facility to open to the public. This facility serves the Western United States, including major metropolitan areas of Phoenix, Denver, Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Albuquerque.
A state-of-the-art, all-digital cancer hospital, Western includes 24 private, inpatient, ICU-capable rooms; state-of-the-art radiation therapy and surgical suites; an Infusion Center comprising 26 infusion chairs, two private rooms and a pharmacy; an on-site outpatient clinic; a rehabilitation therapy center; a “Mini Mall” containing a beauty shop; 37 on-site outpatient guest suites; and more.
Western is also the first CTCA cancer hospital to offer Varian Trilogy® with stereotactic radiosurgery, RapidArc™ and respiratory gating. This technology includes a linear accelerator that delivers radiotherapy doses at least 60 percent faster than conventional accelerators.
