Washington, DC. Lung Cancer Survivor Montessa Lee, as well as Naval Commander, Dr. Corey Carter with Walter Reed Bethesda National Military Hospital and supporting team will attend Saturday’s game against the Indiana Pacers at Verizon Arena as a part of our Survivor at Every Arena initiative. 

Our goals through the Survivor at Every Arena are to create a unique experience for participating survivors and to raise awareness on a local and national level by using each game and each survivor’s story to weave a broader narrative about the state of lung cancer and the hope that now exists for those battling the disease.

We thank the Washington Wizards, along with all of the participating NBA teams this year, for supporting Team Draft and our Survivor at Every Arena initiative.
